Road Trip

We're headed out to visit the 2008 Brick Bash, and Abigail can't wait to go on a road trip!

She was very good, and enjoyed seeing the town and the Legos from her stroller. But by the time we left it was time for her to eat, and we couldn't find any hot water to warm up her bottle. We ended up stopping at a sports bar and asking for a cup of water, which they cheerfully provided to us. Abbey's first time in a bar!

New perspectives

Here's a trick she just learned a day or two ago: rolling over on her side!

French time

We can't remember where we were going...probably somewhere boring, like the grocery store. But Abigail's ready!

Time to visit the Gym

We bought a play gym for her early this week, to make lying on the floor more interesting. She's just barely beginning to grab things, more by accident than by design, but she likes to study the bright colors.

Striker likes the blanket. He's doing really well with her, though we're still cautious with him: he's so big, and she's so little.

Hey, look at those little wiggly things!

She discovered her hands about a week ago. Her feet are still foreign territory.

Smiles

She's been smiling for weeks now---very rewarding when you're exhausted and taking care of some need of hers, yet again! She's learning patty-cake and loves it: almost guaranteed to get smiles from her, which is how we finally got a grin on the camera.
