Ethan Time!

Ethan's been getting much more alert, and spending more time awake.

He's such a content baby: perfectly happy just hangin' out on the couch.

Or swinging in his swing...even if the batteries are dead and it's not moving.

Of course, the best thing is cuddle time with Daddy. I think I'd been up all night with Abbey, thus accounting for the haggard appearance.

Abigail Time!

Saturday (May 23) Debbie took Abbey outside to help plant the sweet woodruff. We discovered that Abbey loves playing in the dirt!

Time to make some block stew for dinner. Note how oblivious Ethan is...

She loves her books!

She hasn't gotten into stuffed animals much yet, but here she's enjoying her Winne-the-Poohs.

But the best part of the day is nighttime, when she gets a cuddle and a bottle from Mommy.

Grandma Time

He's only four weeks old, but look how alert he is! Well, not in the second one. That's just a great picture.

Ethan and Grandma

Of course, Ethan was the main reason for the trip, so we can't leave him out:

Storytime

On Thursday, they took her to visit the public library, which coincidentally happened to be doing storytime just when they arrived. Abbey's a little too young for that yet, but there was a giant Winnie-the-Pooh there that she found pretty cool.

And just because it's a great picture:

Yardwork

We had a lot of leaves, branches, and general winter-left things to clean up in the yard. Dad was nice enough to help with that, and Mom brought Abbey outside to play in the leaves and check out the first spring flowers. When we were done, Dad offered Abigail a ride in the wheelbarrow: that's her "I'm not so sure about this" look.

Grandparents at the park

I have a lot of pictures to catch up on...

My mom and dad visited us the week of March 29th, and were a lot of help to us. We were happy that Abbey wasn't scared of them, and so everyone enjoyed their visit a great deal.

Here's Mom and Dad (Mom behind the camera) taking Abbey on a walk at the park:
