Summer fun!

Abbey and her friend being silly.  That's a firetruck, not a wagon.  And a robe tie, not a rope.  And it was 80 degrees, but Abbey is wearing a stocking cap and scarf!

Winter is coming, so everyone got new pajamas!

They were doing an experiment, if I remember correctly.

First Ice Cream of 2012

One Saturday in March the weather was beautiful and warm, so we packed a lunch and the kids and took everyone for a short day trip to Hidden Lake Garden, an arboretum run by our local state university.  It was the first all-family trip of any kind since Isaac was born.

On the way back, we stopped so that Isaac could nurse, and I treated Abigail and Ethan to the first ice cream stop of the year.

Summer slide

It's October now, but we have a few end-of-summer pictures to post first.

Last fall he needed help just to go down the slide. This spring he learned to climb the ladder, and now he can even go up the slide!

They play together pretty well...most of the time.

Summertime Fun

Where should we play? In the grass? In the playground gravel? Or on the slide? Of course not: dirt is the best entertainment of all!

With all the heat in the last few weeks (taken July 19, 2011), playing in the sprinkler seems like a good plan.

Although mostly they're about filling up cups/buckets/watering cans/dump trucks and drinking from them.
